Aydan's Birthday

fyi: picture heavy---- just the way i like 'em!

We did Aydan's birthday this past weekend! From the fourth of July until Christmas our weekends are usually packed with stuff to do!

He had a superhero theme!

Mom made these awesome hangings, that can be taken down and hung on a wall! They are made out of Styrofoam and are super light!

Spider man with his pain in the butt web! Tommy and I put the web up and had three people telling us how to do it right! It was comical but a lot of work for something that seems so simple!

I made each each kid a shirt and then we got little masks and capes to go with them!

These two were inseparable!

The party went great and we had an absolute blast!

we did a mermaid and crab party for Jilliann's bday!

She had an absolute blast and we had so much fun planning and decorating!

mom premaid these canvases, so all the kids could do their handprints! it turned out sooooooooooooo cute!

Menu Cheat Sheet

i did a recipe binder awhile back to organize all of my stuff. i organized the recipes into categories: beef, chicken, turkey, pork, cakes/cupcakes, brownies/bars, pies, etc.

after that i made these shopping lists and weekly menus. they live in the binder so all i have to do is plan my week and then transfer the ingredients to the shopping list.
the list goes to the pantry and then whatever is left goes to the grocery store with me.

the menu lives on the fridge and then there is no question what is for any meal! i love them!

4th Part 2

After the picnic and birthday party, we set out to do fireworks!

I don't get many pictures with Brenda, but I love this one!

I decided to get brave with my camera and play around with it!

We started writing baby Zayla's name!

We finally figured out how long to set it and how fast!

 Its not perfect, but it is pretty cool! Not everyone will have their name written in fireworks!

After fireworks, Jilliann was a ball of energy so we went inside and did a dance party!

Fourth Part 1

Our fourth of July celebration 

We did a picnic, birthdays, and fireworks!

We had a ton of fun and had a great time spending it with family and friends!

I love how she opens presents, she had to have Brian sit next to her the whole time!

Springview 4th

Springview had their July 4th parade! Tommy went  by and it was super hot!, but they had fun!

We are all still here! I am working on Jilliann's birthday right now and am so excited to see how everything turns out! I will be posting some fun fourth of July stuff soon!
