Jilliann's Recital!

Jilliann had a Valentine's Day Recital and had a blast!

She did so well and sang her heart out!

A group of her friends! She was so happy with them!

1st day of School!

She started August 20, 2012!

It was a super early morning for us! She had a blast on her first day of kindergarten!

Wait! I have a kindergartener! She has been doing super well and is slowly but surely adjusting to the routine of getting up at 6am!

Jilliann's kindergarten interview will be posted soon! It asks her all kinds of questions, like her favorite color, character, etc., I am going to do this interview every year to see how they change as they get older!

I hope things calm down soon! We got back from Sea World on Wednesday and then on Thursday I had to register Jilliann for KINDERGARTEN!!! 

What already!

She went with me and was sooooooooo excited!

She won't start until August 20, but we are slowly preparing her for what is coming. She is so excited to go to the big girl school!

Where did all of this time go? Where did this little girl go?

V-Day

we are making valentine's day treats for oba and pappy and saw a great idea on pinterest!

we mixed:

white glue

shaving cream

couple drops of paint

 you mix it up

 smoosh with your fingers

 add another color

 get messy

 paint your arm

we painted a paper plate with this and can't wait for the big day!

our colors didn't turn out so well so we had to do something else!

Normal Days

tommy was running errands one day and took kasey for some quality one on one time...

he wanted to wear his hat like his daddy..

while daddy and kasey were gone jilliann and i had some fun...

we made milk art!

it was a ton of fun and we did it over and over again.

all you need is milk, food coloring, and soap!

The Letter C

we did the letter C this week
our book was "The Very Hungry Caterpillar"

we moved our caterpillar as it ate each one


we made cows again (out of our weekly shape!)

jilliann's caterpillar is sad because it wanted to be a butterfly


our caterpillar snacks (they look kind of creepy now)
just a rice krispie treat log, strips of fruit roll up, pretzels, and chocolate chips

BUGS

so along with our jungle theme this week....

i have bugs invading my house!

they are cut though!

look what a clothespin, coffee filter, and pom pom can do!




i also discovered i have a jungle growing in my office.. with floating fish i might add!

i am curious to see what else is coming!

jungle!

we started our 2nd week of school two weeks late!
we had so much going on, it just kind of fell through

but monday started a new week, a new schedule (for kids and mommy) and also a new theme!

jungles

on monday i blew up these palm trees, we have had them since jilliann's dora birthday,
we put on the music portion of the jungle book and then had some fun!

they had so much fun dancing with these trees!

the rest of our school week

so to continue with our cow theme, they painted cows in a field
they were drawing the cows spots, face, and legs

we made key chains to hang on our disney bookbags
kasey did a great job threading the beads onto the string



mommy did a cow puppet (the yellow thing is the tongue, but now it doesn't really fit!)

the letter that week was A
we did apple things

they made placemats with their whole hand
the side of their palm is the trunk
their fingers are their leaves
their knuckles are the apples

they turned out really cute

kasey's had the middle but no outline


jilliann's only had the outline and no middle

we had a blast and can't wait for the second week!
