Picasso.... Possibly!

one day we took a family trip to Possibly Picasso
It was a blast.

The kids picked the colors they wanted and their item to paint.
The lady was very helpful and kept getting them paint refills.

Homemade Ice Cream

The lineup for homemade ice cream!
use 2c heavy whipping cream and a 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk (not pictured)
and all the ingredients you want!
whip the cream until you have stiff peaks, then fold in the milk, add your goodies and freeze!
These are all the stuff they wanted to put in!

Jilliann waiting for the cream to whip... stiff peaks please

she mixed in the milk and then they both decided they wanted chocolate!

beating our oreos

fruit snacks anyone?

can't forget the marshmallows!

stir and then freeze!
while you wait for it to freeze, lick the bowl!

can't wait to see how it comes out!
*** update***
we waited overnight, and it turned out super  creamy and oh so yummy! one batch made a huge portion size for the kids. we ended up splitting the mixture in half so each one could do whatever they wanted. next time we won't be adding as many sweet things because the ice cream starts out very sweet! can't wait to do this again!

Gingerbread, cont!

All of the kids got together to pose with their houses!

Wait what is Kasey doing... there is nothing there....

Oh CHOCOLATE! Yep he found the chocolate and was eating it off of Jonathan and Uncle Bobby's house!

He did decide to share! He shared with Kwan and Chris
 and so did Jilliann!
We had a ton of fun and can't wait to do it all again next year!

Gingerbread houses!

Every year we make Gingerbread houses!
We found this kit at Michaels that had five little houses, which were perfect for the kids!

Jilliann and her pink icing

Beautiful!

Kasey had to have green!

His was much cleaner... but he learned he only had to decorate a little bit and then he could eat all the candy!

This is Jonathan's and Uncle Bobby's...... Oh Boy! What a house and what a story!
every year they do something crazy!

So here be the story!
This house was built in 2004 in Detroit in the high of the market! The house was very contemporary and had the best architect and engineers designing it! Well the bottom fell out and the house is being vandalized. The owner wants to sell it for what he payed for it.... $300,000

What do you think?

Danielle... this is her tribute to Christopher!

They had a ton of fun doing all of the hard work!
